General

We are a dedicated peer-to-peer marketplace built by sailors, for sailors, specializing in high-performance racing gear, marine electronics, and custom class parts. We provide the secure software infrastructure, but the transaction is strictly between the buyer and seller.

Creating an account and listing your inventory is completely free. When an item sells, two fees are deducted from your item price: a marketplace commission of 5% (minimum $5.00 — flat $5 for items at or below $100, 5% above that) plus the credit card's fee at 2.9% + $0.30 payment-processing fee on the gross charge (item + shipping). Shipping collected from the buyer is passed through in full. Your estimated net payout is shown before you publish a listing.

Buying

Your money is securely held in escrow when you check out. Once tracking shows the package has been delivered, you have a strict 3-day inspection window to verify the gear matches the seller's description before funds are released.

To protect independent sellers, all sales are final and buyer's remorse or sizing mismatches are not eligible for returns. However, if an item arrives broken, defective, or materially 'Not as Described', you can open a dispute through your Purchases Dashboard within the 3-day delivery window to secure a full refund.

Selling

Payouts are safely routed directly to your connected account either when the buyer marks the order as received, or automatically 3 days after carrier tracking confirms delivery—whichever happens first.

Yes. If you go to your gear locker and realize an item is damaged or out of stock, you can click 'Cancel Order' on your Seller Dashboard prior to shipping. This automatically triggers a full refund to the buyer and updates the order status.

No. To protect both parties and maintain marketplace security, all transactions must go through our checkout. Exchanging contact information or external payment details in private messages violates our User Agreement and results in immediate account restriction.
